Zillard King Review
It seems Red Tiger did not want to bother paying the rights to use the real names. It has made a blend between a lizard and Godzilla, creating an exciting premise for a game. The giant lizard has its mind set on a coastal town and will not stop until the destruction.
The game looks like it has much-wasted potential, as there are only a few features with a few attractive perks. The rest is OK, and we could not call the online slot dull, but it is not exactly the most inspiring title coming out of Red Tiger.
Monster slots are not a novelty, and this is not the best game, but it is a decent effort. Zillard King has enough things going to be dubbed a solid game.
- Medium-to-high volatility with a maximum win of 3,800x the stake
- Thirty paylines
- Zillard Wild and Thunder Wilds
The casino game represents a good visual effort from Red Tiger, although the graphics are far from spectacular. The soundtrack is menacing, with the storm brewing in the background and announcing dangerous events.
Zillard King does not disappoint in the audio-visual department, although it does not offer anything breathtaking. The developer went for a couple of features without any complex additions that might confuse the audience.
Even though it lacks some necessities to be unforgettable, it has its charms, and it can provide you with a good time for a while. Do you have what it takes to stop the Zillard King and go home with the maximum win of 3,800x the bet?
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
While the game theme calls for the graphics to be original and imposing, the release offers good but not particularly impressive visuals. The whole shebang is there – dark clouds, storms, heavy sea and lightning, with a town in the background soon to be destroyed.
The soundtrack fits the theme, and it is everything you could hope for and more. The gameplay is straightforward and smooth, with a couple of exciting features to spice things up.
Zillard King is the title to explore if you are into creature features. It has a few surprises up its sleeve to keep you entertained.
The action occurs on a 5×4 game grid, with thirty paylines and the sixth reel filling the meter with collected coins. Three to five matching symbols on a payline award a win.
Moreover, the sixth reel unlocks if you gather enough coins, with only premium symbols landing. The paytable begins with four card suits, granting 0.6x-1.5x the stake for five of a kind.
The premiums include Compasses, Gas Masks, Choppers and Orbs, paying 3x-15x times the stake for five and doubling the values for a six-of-a-kind hit.
Wilds replace the regular symbols in winning combinations, while Scatters do not exist, for there is no Bonus game.
The main goal in Zillard King is to collect coins to unlock Wild upgrades. Coins randomly appear on the bottom right corner of any icons landing on the reels. If a Zillard Wild lands simultaneously with a coin, it is collected and added to the progress bar.
As the game progresses and you collect more Wilds and coins, the Wild upgrades in three steps. Upgrade 1 costs thirty coins, transforming the Wild into a full-reel 1×4 symbol.
The next one requires sixty coins and adds a random Multiplier to the Zillard Wild, while the last one turns it sticky. It remains on the reels until it participates in a win for a price of ninety coins.
Consecutive wins have a Multiplier attached to them, going up to x20. When the first non-winning spin happens, the Zillard Wild disappears from the reels and is reset.
The progress bar becomes the sixth reel, featuring premium symbols only, without low-pay icons or Wilds, when all the upgrades have occurred.
When the Zillard Wild hits the reels without a win, he might roar to summon Thunder Wilds on the grid. You will get three to six Thunder Wilds on five active reels or three to nine if six are active. They guarantee a win, increasing the winning potential significantly.
Zillard King Free Spins
Zillard King is a game without a Bonus round; there are no such things as Free Spins. It is a shame and a severe drawback, taking away the game’s potential to become a minor classic.
It has an exciting and original concept with intriguing gameplay, but the lack of a proper Bonus game will not favor it among the players. Less appealing games with fewer things to boast about fared a lot better simply due to exciting Bonus rounds.
The developers based all the features on Wild symbols, with no consideration for the Free Spins, probably contributing to the game’s ultimate downfall.
Where To Play Zillard King?
RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The RTP the game offers is 96%, which is around the industry standard. The hit frequency and the Free Spins frequency are yet to be announced.
There are multiple winning opportunities, with the game’s betting scope being on a narrow side. The lowest bet you can place stands at $0.10, while the highest is $20.
It will indubitably be a massive turn-off for high rollers, but recreational players will find plenty of enjoyable things in it. Adjust the parameters according to your needs and enjoy the game.
The volatility is medium-to-high, meaning it will provide moderate wins at an average rate, with occasional periods of adrenaline-rushing sequences.
The game looks to offer different amenities to everyone, but the lack of a Bonus round seriously hampers the game.
A monster slot with a few attractive features is an interesting concept to attract fans. Wilds are the game’s core elements, providing the best moments and some lucrative wins when helped by Multipliers.
However, Zillard King is the game without a good Bonus round and with a moderate maximum win of 3,800x the stake. It can be suitable for a while, but it will not top any lists. We rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
