Bounty Gold Review
Bounty Gold looks like a debut title from a brand-new gaming studio and not a release from a well-established name like Pragmatic Play. It would be reasonable to expect more from an online slot created by one of the most reputable names in the business.
However, you’ll get a simple and uneventful game, although some elements may deliver more thrill and improve the overall playing experience.
- High variance with a jackpot of 5,000x the bet
- Twenty-five fixed paylines
- Money respin round
The Main Game may feel a bit boring, with the only feature being the money respin round. Although this doesn’t seem much, developers added a twist to this feature by adding four five-by-three matrices.
Only one is active when the round starts, while players will be able to unlock the remaining ones later. The game’s high volatility comes with a suitable top prize of 5,000 times the triggering bet.
Theme, Graphics and Sounds
Pragmatic Play chose a windy Wild West town as the setting for its release. The casino game’s visuals are solid, although far from being impressive.
That can be said for the entire game as well. Bounty Gold has what it takes to entertain players and deliver handsome payouts but is far from being exceptional in any way.
This Wild West-themed title comes with a standard five-reel, three-row grid, while slot lovers have 25 paylines to create their winning combinations.
To start receiving payouts, they’ll need to land at least three matching icons on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost one.
But that’s not all, as symbols need to be positioned on one of the paylines to deliver a cash prize. Otherwise, players won’t be getting anything.
The Main Game lacks the excitement, while the only available feature is the money respin round. Land six or more money symbols to activate this feature.
A new screen will open, populated with four five-by-three matrices. Only one is active at the start, though players can unlock the remaining ones later.
Three spins are initially awarded, with money symbols remaining in their position when landing, resetting the number of respins in the process.
Collecting money symbols is your ticket to unlocking the other matrices. You’ll need nine, eighteen or twenty-six of them to open all of them.
Filling all positions on a matrix delivers a jackpot prize. The prizes start at 25 times your stake, while the top one is worth 5,000 times the bet!
But there’s more, as grids come with multipliers of 2x, 3x, and 4x to further boost the size of your winnings. However, hitting all 44 symbols applies a 5x multiplier to all money symbols.
Where To Play Bounty Gold?
RTP, bet sizes and volatility
The default RTP for Bounty Gold is 96.50%. The game itself is available in different RTP flavours, so we advise players to check the payout percentage before they start playing.
Wagering starts at $0.25, while the maximum stake is $125 per spin.
When it comes to winning, the largest available payout waiting for you is worth 5,000 times the bet.
That’s a solid top prize for a slot game with such variance and also a suitable reward for those players brave enough to tackle the game’s high volatility.
Using a Wild West theme often suggests that a developer has run out of ideas. Bounty Gold feels like that. It’s unimpressive for a slot created by such a renowned name as Pragmatic Play.
It looks and feels average, offers average gameplay, and has nothing that would make it stand out in the sea of other similarly themed games in the market.
It can still provide hours of entertainment, and payouts of up to 5,000 times the bet are far from being poor. You are free to give it a go, and who knows, you may end up claiming one of the prizes on offer.
But you’ll hardly remember ever playing it after a day or two. We rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
