TheScore Bet Signs a Partnership Agreement with Toronto Blue Jays

TheScore Bet has recently signed a crucial ten-year partnership agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays. The move will see the Penn National Gaming subsidiary become the exclusive gaming partner for the Canadian baseball team.
This is the first team partnership for theScore Bet and also the first gaming deal with the Blue Jays. Under the provisions of the new agreement, theScore Bet will gain exclusive market rights across multiple verticals, including sports betting and online casino.
The two sides will also launch a branded restaurant and sports bar at Toronto’s Rogers Center. The new venue will offer fans a wide variety of entertainment options.
But that’s not all, as the deal will include opening two premium sections at Rogers Center, including in-stadium branding and various features. TheScore will also become the presenting partner of the in-stadium raffle called the Jays Care 50/50 program.
Commenting on this important new partnership, John Levy, Chief Executive Officer at theScore Bet, said:
TheScore Bet is proudly Canadian, and we are thrilled to make Canada’s baseball team our long-term partner. This is a foundational partnership with a team and organization that is deeply embedded in our country’s sports culture. Teaming with the Blue Jays opens up exciting new exclusive marketing opportunities and brings theScore Bet even closer to a huge audience of passionate and engaged fans, both on-site at Rogers Centre and online across our platforms.
Headquartered in Toronto, theScore launched its first sports application in 2005. But the company’s turning point was the US legalization of sports betting in 2018 when it decided to launch a mobile casino and sportsbook.
The platform debuted a year later, becoming the leader in the segment. Penn National Gaming bought theScore in October 2021 in a deal aimed to further grow the company’s presence across North America.
