Proline Partners with the NBA

Ontario launched its iGaming market on April 4, and since then, we’ve seen many new companies join in on the action. The provincial market is often described as the biggest one on the continent, so its popularity shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Despite losing its monopoly, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is still present, giving its best to maintain a solid market share.
Following a partnership deal with the Major League Baseball, OLG’s Proline has inked another essential agreement. The new arrangement with the National Basketball League (NBA) represents an extension of the current relationship between the two sides.
Proline wants to benefit from the popularity that American sports competitions have in Canada. The crown company and its betting outlet intend to make the most out of it.
Under the provisions of the deal, OLG will gain access to the NBA’s data. Sports fans will be able to read fixtures and odds in near-real-time, thanks to direct data feeds. This will allow them to make informed decisions when placing their wagers.
Proline will also integrate official NBA assets in its official physical and digital channels. The partnership will allow bettors in Ontario to bet on the NBA Draft. The two sides will offer a range of unique experiences to help sports fans enjoy basketball.
Speaking about this deal, Dave Pridmore, Chief Digital and Strategy Officer at OLG, pointed out that the contract extension pointed out that Proline and OLG were on the right path.
This shows that OLG and its Proline and Proline+ don’t have any disadvantage when compared to other private companies that established their presence in Ontario iGaming market since the newest regulations.
Pridmore once again pointed out the partnership would bring distinctive and recognizable experiences available exclusively through the company’s betting platforms.
