PointsBet Partners with Alpine Canada
Published: February 11, 2022
PointsBet Canada has announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with the country’s alpine sport governing body, Alpine Canada Alpin.
Under the provision of this multi-year arrangement, PointsBet Canada will become the official sportsbook for Alpine Canada. The agreement will start with the ongoing season.
Alpine Canada controls the Canadian alpine, para-alpine and ski cross teams. It also supports athletes in such competitions as the Olympic Games, World Cup, X Games, and World Championship.
The new partnership comes right on time for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.
The move will allow Alpine Canada Alpin to partner with a safe and reliable market operator. PointsBet Canada was the perfect candidate for the deal, as the APA was looking for a company based in Canada, legal, safe, and committed to responsible gaming.
In addition to inking new partnerships, PointsBet Canada is getting ready for the upcoming launch of single-event sports betting in Canada.
Commenting on the deal, Scott Vanderwel, Chief Executive Officer at the company, commented:
PointsBet Canada is committed to bringing our nation’s fans gold medal experiences, and we are excited to be partnering with our world-class Canadian skiers as they follow their dreams and represent our great country on the world stage.
