888 Secures Ontario Online Gambling License

The UK-based online gaming and betting operator 888 has obtained license approval in Ontario, which will allow the company to offer services to customers in the country’s most populous province.
The famous 888 casino will also be one of the first operators to launch in Ontario once its regulated market opens on April 4.
According to available information, 888 will offer a wide range of services, from online casino to sports and poker. The operator’s in-house developed technology powers all products.
Apart from Ontario, 888 holds licenses in nineteen regulated markets. This includes seven jurisdictions in the US.
The application process began last September when the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) started processing applications from operators and suppliers.
